Random facts about me
1. I am a bit too obsessed with peanut M&Ms and gummi sharks
2. A friend and I have a ritual of making absolutely sure we have food every time we have Foundations.
3. My favorite time to run is when it is dark... I like to look at the stars and muse over life.
4. Most of my story ideas are born on solo runs
5. Among my ambitions? Skydiving, bungee-jumping, and climbing Mount Everest
6. When I was in kindengarten, I wanted to be Santa Claus when I grew up.
7. When I was little, I played out games with my Barbies that involved a family I made up and the Babysitters Club.
8. When Cate and I were 8 and 10, respectively, we had BSC Board Game marathons of as long as six hours
9. Britt, Beth, and I made up stories using the hat box the Riverhead Library's children's room used to have.
10. I am fond of writing fanfiction for Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter.
11. My hobby that I miss having time to do the most? Scrapbooking.
12. The second pasttime? Reading.
13. My lifetime goal is to have at least 3 month's worth of studying every language in the world, somehow.
14. In conjunction to 13, I'd like to spend at least one day in every country in the world, and to run at least a 5K in all of them.
15. I get a strange pleasure I cannot rationally explain of running in all adverse weather conditions unless a cold and dry wind is involved.
16. I'm an all-or-nothing woman.
17. I OWN at pinball (on the computer, that is)
18. I want to know why in Minesweeper, why my first go is never a mine
19. I heart the Sims
20. I LOATHE monotony and feeling as thogh my existence is pointless
I'm a writer. I'm a runner. I'm a hobbit that drank waaaaaaay too much ent-draught when she was a baby. I'm a racewalker. I'm a friend. I'm a girl friend. I'm a daughter. I'm a student. I'm a coworker. I'm a blonde. I'm supposedly a "genius" (Pfffft yeah RIGHT!) but I'm also lacking in common sense, and, infortunately, also space out on everything I don't write down... appointments and the like, and worst of all... stuff to do with friends... so if I say I'm going to do something, make me write it down!
I'm an adventurer. I love to learn new things except when I'm being forced to via school. I'm a daredevil and slightly reckless. I always change my mind. I get bored easily. I'm pensive. I'm imaginative. I daydream like it's nobody's business. I'm great with maps but get lost in my thoughts.
I don't give two flying fricks what anyone thinks of me. i'm weird and pretty damn proud of it, thank you very much!
My sense of humor is the sort that rolls its eyes at slapstick, but loves satire and its cousins irony and dry humor.
I want to be a published author someday. A great author. A best-seller. I also want to cut enough time to racewalk in the Olympics (haha yes... I dream absurdly big)
I love my friends, mom, and Al.

I'm moving to Baltimore in August 2009 for Teach for America!
