If it is what it seems, then it's almost as good news as suddenly receiving a free condo in Florida for me, Jess, Jessie, and Erika.

Well, the life of any college athlete, aside from living and breathing their sport, is forms, forms, paperwork, and more paperwork. And today, I saw one posted to my account I've never seen before.

It as described as below...

"Complete and submit Stony Brook's 2008-2009 Athletes Housing/Meal Plan Reporting Form

This form must be completed and returned to the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarship Services before any award(s) will disburse to your University Account. "

Then there's a download link... and the form's PDF itself also sounds like i'm doing necessary paperwork for athletic funding!


Awards? What awards? I've always gotten the Special Assistance fund because I get FAFSA money, but am I misinterpreting things or does it sound like the Athletic Department may be paying for housing/meal plan? Maybe? If so that would be AMAZING... and if so, slap me if I ever complain about my coach again. Or my bad luck, because I'm already blessed with not being in debt thanks to FAFSA, TAP, and my academic scholarship... and I'll be even more blessed if the athletic department is paying for my room and board! Because then FAFSA and TAP will just be extra.

(Of course... I consider my luck average... because it's either exceptionally good or extremely bad. There's never a middle ground! I'm the trouble magnet with suprisingly good luck)

Then i can help pay for my mom's car as I offered when I received the First Alumni award.
