If anyone wishes to see a facebook thread featuring someone with an apparent deep-seated pathological hatred for cashiers, I suggest you go read the thread on facebook in a group called "Cashiers who are sick of Stupid People" that I've linked above.

To sum it up, this woman named Carol Archer is pretty much going on a flaming spree against every single person who posted in the thread. I went to read it when I received a notification that somebody had responded to one of my posts, and was very astonished to find that she had written, and I quote this verbatim, pasted exactly as written for the benefit of all who do not have facebook: "Cher talking about IQs....learn to spell and u go to University! Probably just putting u through to get rid of u."

I'm not joking. So basically, she's criticizing me over a single typo in the post she answered, where I wrote "elow" for below.

Hmmm... pretty rich of her to criticize *my* spelling. Perhaps she is referring to the added "w"s in "wow", but I believe that would be a form of emphasis, not a misspelling. "Elow"- yes, a typo. I do not pretend to be a perfect typist, because I most definitely am not.

I think she is probably bitter- she must be VERY below average if she is so incensed by my citing the average!

Seriously, if you are going to out somebody down over a single error, you had best make sure that post in which you express your opinion is immaculate, or else you will just look like a bigger idiot yourself than the person you are trying to insult!

I'm not even going to dignify that with a response on the board, even if I did just spend the entirety of a livejournal post laughing about it.
